Portillo’s always comes through!!! Enjoyed everything. Beef, double dipped with mozzarella cheese, regular fries with cheese sauce, tamale, small coke and a piece of chocolate cake to celebrate my cousin’s birthday.

I went through the drive through the other day after some touch news and I have to stay in the short period of time- Emily from the drive thru made quite the impression! She was warm, welcoming and was hilarious while also being very efficient. In excellent worker for sure! I received my order correctly, timely and in great fashion as well!

As always, Portillo's was great! Delicious food. Fast, friendly service. Great atmosphere. The Spicy Chicken Salad was delicious! My wife said the Meatball Sub was great. We also had french fries and onion rings. For dessert we had Strawberry shortcake... And Carmel cake. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended!!!

Amazing decor as always and 10/10 vanilla malt. Changed my life. My boyfriend recommended I get the chocolate one and he got the vanilla and really I liked the vanilla more but I let him keep it. Always next time to try again.

A classic Chicagoland experience with all the kind of Italian influenced fast casual items you could want like Italian beef and meatballs. The fries are always done to perfection and the ambiance evokes a strong sense of nostalgia for 1950s Chicagoland diners. The salad is one of the best in the area and be mindful—it does come with blue cheese and bacon unless you specify otherwise. Free cake slice on your birthday if you use the app is a big plus They have self ordering kiosks that have English and Spanish ordering options Salads you pickup at a different counter than the rest of the items, fyi Bathrooms are clean, staff are kind and attentive

I recently visited Portillo’s in Vernon Hills, IL, and had an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of. We decided to try a variety of items and were thoroughly impressed. The Garden Dog Hotdog was a standout for me – fresh, delicious, and perfectly seasoned, making it a great option for vegetarians or anyone seeking a lighter take on the classic hotdog experience. The Garden Salad was another hit – crisp greens, fresh toppings, and a delightful dressing that tied it all together beautifully. Now, let’s talk about dessert! Portillo’s is known for their sweet treats, and they did not disappoint. We tried the Chocolate Cake Shake, and it was rich, creamy, and full of real cake pieces – a decadent must-have. The Chocolate Cake itself was moist, perfectly balanced in sweetness, and an absolute crowd-pleaser. The Salted Caramel Spice Cake added a delightful mix of flavors, with a hint of spice and a perfect touch of salty caramel that elevated the dessert game. Finally, the Chocolate Éclair Cake was smooth, luscious, and the perfect finish to an incredible meal. Overall, our visit to Portillo’s was memorable, with delicious food, mouthwatering desserts, and a great dining atmosphere. Portillo's is one of my all-time favorite spots! The food is always delicious, and it's such a fun place to visit. Whether you're in the mood for a classic Chicago-style hot dog, a hearty sandwich, or one of their tasty salads, you can't go wrong. But let's talk about the real star of the show--the chocolate cake. It's absolutely to die for! Moist, rich, and perfectly sweet, it's hands down the best chocolate cake I've ever had. The service is always friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Every visit feels like a treat, and I'm always excited to go back for more. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and try it out, especially the chocolate cake! You won't regret it.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was really nice and made me want to came back again and again. Also the workers were kind and made sure that every time I needed assistance they would help me and make sure that I was taken care of. So If I had a choice between many restaurants I would go to her 10/10 times due to the fact that the food is very good and makes me feel good after eating it.
